In God's Time

I heard this song on XM last week and it truly hit my heart hard. Friday will be ONE year since Marcus has gone to be with Jesus. It's still so hard to truly believe he is gone...and as the anniversary approaches, Sela tells me, "I just wish April 1 didn't have to come". She is so dreading the day...and I can't say that I blame her. She and Sloane have come so far. They still talk about their Daddy frequently and I try to make sure they are reminded how much he loves them and how he is still with them always...but the hard truth hurts..he is gone and he will never be able to hug them or kiss them or snuggle with them...it sucks. I hate to use that word, but honestly it is the best one that truly captures my feeling about the situation. Joe has been wonderful to them and I see them bonding more and more, but he will never take their Daddy's place...and it hurts my heart that they have to live with that hole in their own hearts...SOOO, I was hoping to get some help from anyone reading. If you would comment or email any memories you have of Marcus, I will share them with the girls on Friday, April 1...and maybe it will help bring a little happiness to a day they are dreading to have to deal with. I know that "In God's time" the pain will ease for us all...we will never forget Marcus..we will always love and miss him...I just pray the peace can come sooner than later....
