So the GSK trial that Dr. Kim wanted Marcus in is not open to new patients yet.....bummer-BUT, they would like him to try another phase one trial-MGCD265-supposedly there have only been 6 Melanoma patients try this trial and the company is trying to recruit more Melanoma patients to see if this maybe an option for them....1 patient responded completely-no active disease, 1 patient has stable disease, 2 are still in their cycle and haven't rescanned yet to know, and 2 had progression....so, Marcus has to decided to try this trial and see what happens. If the GSK BRAF trial does open up, he can get into it later, he just has to be out of this one for 28 days.....SOOOOO, we are trusting that God will lead him to the right trial...and if this one works, GREAT, if it keeps the disease stable until the BRAF trial opens, even better-we just keep believing and trusting that God's plan is in action and we will patiently wait to see it unfold :) Please keep those prayers coming prayer warriors! oh, and while you are praying, please add the following people to your prayers-they are currently fighting their own battles and need all of our prayers too!!
